Volkswagen will invest in China
On the sidelines of the Tokyo Motor Show, Robert Buechelhofer, manager of the carmaker Volkswagen, has confirmed the intention of his group to invest 1.7 billion euros over the next five years in China. In 2003 the Polo model will be launched simultaneously in China and Europe. According to the German house in a few years the Chinese cars will reach one million from the current 700,000. Today, the title scored an increase of 2.13% to 43.2 euros.
