TLC, NTT Lowers Estimates of 2001-2002
The Japanese NTT telephone group has lowered its estimates on 2001-2001 due to strong competition that is lowering the profitability of the business of fixed line. Consolidated net income should reach 89 billion dollars for next March, while revenue is expected to amount to 11.900 billion yen, instead of 12.100 billion as planned in May.
