Italintesa the New Market
The Board of Directors of Italintesa, a company engaged in trading securities on own account since 1998, currently treated in the Third Market, ordered to carry out the capital increase. The board also decided to initiate the procedure for the listing on the Nuovo Mercato. The volume of business in ‘99 was 132,058,029 euros (over 255 billion pounds), up 254% compared to 1998. At 30 June 2000 the turnover reached 112,558,000 euros (218 billion lire) and then remain at 400 billion pounds by the end of the year. The capital increase will begin tomorrow, 5 October 2000 and ending November 3, 2000. Therefore from 5 October 2000, the title will be treated in the Third Market, a former right of option.
